MimoMicro USB Card Reader & Drive by Mimoco

Here’s the top secret project we’ve been working on for the past few years and it’s finally made its debut at CES — yay!

They’re pretty cool and pretty cute — no more searching for cables! Just shove your microSD card into the reader, flip out the USB, and plug into the computer. If that’s not awesome, then I don’t know what is. *sigh* Making life simple and fun :)

I’ve been carrying my little Yoda around for the past few days…been protective of it because it’s my precious baby.

They’ll be available to the masses in March so be sure to visit mimoco.com to get one for yourself!

The MIMOMICRO product line is a smaller, more versatile device and demonstrates the evolution of the MIMOBOT collection. Not only can MIMOMICRO be used as a USB flash drive with removable microSD memory cards, but it also functions as a microSD card reader to transport data between mobile phones, tablets, e-readers, digital cameras, and mp3 players to your computer. It makes sharing your data with the world that much faster and easier. READ MORE

When it comes to USB drives, is it fun over function?

Yay — check out the designs I worked on that are featured on CNN’s Geek Out blog — Nerd Kitty Hello Kitty, Vintage Batman, and Han Solo with Carbonite Carrying Case!

When you are passionate about a franchise like “Star Wars” or “Batman” you can find ways to show your fandom in every part of your life: clothes, coffee cups, mouse pads, etc.

Mimoco has tapped into that with their line of Mimobot USB drives – available in several styles to meet many differing fandoms. Mimoco’s drives are some of the coolest out there, and they just released a new series licensed from Lucasfilm and DC Comics at San Diego Comic-Con.
